Just A Touch of Texas
What better way to celebrate our freedom than having a country-western wedding on the 4th of July!? Sarah and Santos are a Texas couple that married in Manitowoc, Wi in their family’s backyard. It was a relaxed day full of contagious smiles and excitement. I even caught myself smiling while scrolling through their wedding day memories, and I bet you will too!
On this 4th of July morning, TBBT Co-founder, Kate, made the drive from Chicago to Manitowoc to get Sarah and her large party ready for the celebration. Kate created one of the most unique bridal looks we’ve seen in a while… A glam, full-face of makeup that was perfectly executed to match Sarah’s exquisite beauty. Even in black and white pictures, Sarah’s look is on a whole new level.
They say “The bigger the hair, the closer to god.” I tried to google who “they” are, but it’s a toss-up between Dolly Parton & Steel Magnolias. Anywho, this expression especially rings true for our Texas bride. Sarah wore her hair in a braid so big that even Elsa from the movie Frozen would be green with envy. Her blonde hair is naturally thick and long, but to create such a statement style, Kate installed a set of thick clip-in hair extensions — Proving yet again that any style is possible with hair extensions 😉 😉.
There’s something really special about our couples that chose to move forward with their weddings during COVID. Sarah and Santos seemed so stress-free and lively. They were focused on what mattered most at this place in time; marrying the person they love! We at TBBT find this pretty dang romantic.
