An Indiana Beach Elopement
A beach elopement, in Indiana?! Yes TBBT beauties, if you aren’t local to the area, let us introduce you to the Indiana Dunes State Park, a beautiful stretch of sand & shoreline on Lake Michigan. But what’s even more captivating are our models, Rokki (Rocky) and MJ, a real couple planning to be wed in October 2021--Congrats Love Birds!
The Bridal Beauty Team was brought on board for this styled elopement by Chicago based photographer, Victoria Chuk, and bridal gown stylist, Goli June, to create a modern & free-spirited bridal hair and makeup look….
We wanted to feature an uncommon hairstyle in hopes that it would inspire our TBBT brides & bridal parties to explore some non-traditional looks. So, what could be more different than pigtail braids?! With lots of loose strands and organic texture, the look turned out to be the perfect beachy-chic hairstyle. Relaxed & effortless...Does this sound like you?
Rokki has the most gorgeous green eyes and we were instantly inspired to play with color + intensity to make them pop!
Lesson time…Opposite to green on the color wheel is red, this is called a complimentary color. When you are trying to bring out, or enhance the color of your eyes, using a tone of your complimentary color is a fail-safe way to do so.
Applied on the eyes is the limited edition Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palette in Mesmerizing Maroon. This product is rich in pigment, with lots of shimmer and sparkle. As the “icing on the cake” we applied our very own lash brand by The Bridal Beauty Team (They’re 3D silk and can be worn up to 12 times! Fancy, huh?!). Paired with the eye look is Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Blush, Highlighter and a nude-pink lip. Needless to say, her bridal look is one-of-a-kind and in the words of Charlotte herself... “Flawless Darling!”
